Lehigh Valley, PA − July 15, 2026 − Senator Nick Miller, in partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, today announced the launch of a new Small Business Improvement Grant Program to help long-standing small businesses across Lehigh County invest in their future. The program is open to all eligible small businesses in Lehigh County, regardless of Chamber membership, with priority given to long-standing establishments that have made lasting contributions to their communities.
Spearheaded by Senator Miller’s office, the program will provide funding for interior and exterior improvements that strengthen local businesses, enhance commercial corridors, attract new customers, and support continued economic growth throughout the county.
A total of $225,000 will be available through funding secured by Senator Miller, with an additional minor portion of total funding from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Eligible businesses can apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to support a wide range of improvements, including:
- Interior and exterior upgrades such as façade improvements, paint, flooring, lighting, and signage
- Energy efficiency upgrades
- Renovations that enhance customer experience and business functionality
- Placemaking efforts that increase foot traffic and reflect the unique identity of the community
