Internships
Senator Nick Miller is seeking applicants for a district office intern in his Allentown office. This internship is an opportunity to get involved in your local government by assisting Senator Miller to serve the residents of the 14th District.
Major responsibilities:
- Assist the senator and his team with various tasks and projects
- Conduct research on legislative issues and policy matters
- Drafting documents and preparing briefs
- Help with constituent inquiries and communications
- Attend meetings, hearings and community events on behalf of the senator
- Respond to constituent inquiries via phone, email and in-person
- Support office staff with administrative tasks
- Collaborate with team members on special projects
- Gain valuable experience in government and public service
- Develop skills in research, communication and teamwork
- Assist with social media content and creation
General Job Information:
- Interns will be paid $15/hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Hours can be flexible to provide opportunity for interns to attend events with the senator and other staff, ability to work occasional nights and weekends is encouraged, but not required.
