ALLENTOWN, PA – October 8, 2026 − Eastern Exterior Wall Systems and State Senator Nick Miller (D-Lehigh/Northampton) hosted an open house celebrating the transformation of a once-shuttered manufacturing facility and the company’s continued growth and investment in the Allentown community.

The event provided an inside look at the facility’s revitalization, the construction and workforce behind the project, and the economic impact of bringing new manufacturing activity to the site.

“We wanted a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility right here in the City of Allentown, and the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program made it possible to take on the challenges of a blighted property. We’re proud of what we’ve built at 606 S. 10th Street, and we’re grateful to State Senator Nick Miller and State Representative Peter Schweyer for their work securing the grants that made this redevelopment possible,” said Jody Marcon, President and CEO of Eastern Exterior Wall Systems.

“Manufacturing has been a significant part of Allentown’s history and seeing the opening of this manufacturing facility today continues that legacy for the state’s third largest city,” Secretary of Revenue Pat Browne said. “This event is a testament to a strong partnership between the city, the state and Eastern Exterior Wall Systems, all of whom are dedicated to the investment in and redevelopment of a site which had a long manufacturing history in Allentown but has since seen significant challenges. I thank Eastern Exterior Wall Systems for its commitment to the city, this facility and the benefits this investment will bring to our economy.”

“Today, we’re seeing the power of a strategic investment firsthand with Eastern Exterior Wall Systems’ new manufacturing facility,” said Senator Nick Miller. “I was proud to secure $1.5 million for the first phase of this project and help turn a once-shuttered facility into a thriving manufacturing operation that will create jobs and opportunity right here in Allentown. With AEDC/ACIDA serving as a key partner and leader in urban manufacturing, this exemplifies the transformative impact that state and private‑sector collaboration can achieve in revitalizing vacant properties and advancing the long-term economic future of our region.”

“It is always a good day when we get to celebrate economic development and revitalization projects here in Allentown,” State Representative Peter Schweyer said. “Knowing the commitment that Eastern Exterior made to this project right out of the gate makes it even more special. They brought back a building that had fallen into disrepair. The jobs created, the economic impact and the contribution that they are making to the growth of Allentown, and the Lehigh Valley are very impactful.”
