ALLENTOWN, PA – October 27, 2026 – State Senator Nick Miller (D-Lehigh/Northampton) issued the following statement after Ivy Madness Coming to PPL Center in 2028:

“Beginning in 2028, a three-year agreement will bring the Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, known as Ivy Madness, to PPL Center, with two teams earning automatic bids to March Madness.

“Bringing major sporting events to the Lehigh Valley is a deliberate investment in our local economy,” said Senator Nick Miller. “We’ve seen firsthand the economic benefits these tournaments can deliver, including more than $4 million generated by the 2023 NCAA Division I Hockey Regionals in Allentown. Hosting Ivy Madness in 2028, 2029 and 2030 builds on that success, bringing new visitors, new business opportunities, and greater visibility to our region. This is a win for our small businesses, our downtown, and the entire Lehigh Valley, while giving student-athletes and fans an outstanding championship experience.”
